The Ladies Room has lost its home & we are looking for a new one in Hillcrest.

My story is much like other girls: confusion, desire, guilt, fascination, hiding, collecting, purging, searching, then, finally finding, accepting, and understanding, but, still in the closet. I expanded the closet, stopped purging, refined my skills, went to TG bars in So Cal, but basically stayed in the closet. That all suddenly changed in early 2007. A dear friend showed me that I could go anywhere in Hillcrest without a problem. In fact, I was warmly welcomed and treated like a lady everywhere.

Hillcrest is a large gay community in San Diego. Hillcrest allowed me to be my true self. It was in Hillcrest that I first truly felt accepted. Every establishment in Hillcrest is welcoming and treats us with respect. We can stroll down the street, window shopping or bar hopping and receive only smiles and warmth.

I am the Docent at the Ladies Room, a dressing room, safe 24 hr storage and crossdressing service. If you need a safe and secure place to dress and go out in San Diego, this is the place for you. If you are traveling to San Diego, you really should have at least one girl night out. Make sure you can do it on a Wednesday or a Saturday so you can see the best drag show anywhere.
